Based in the heart of Scotland's Cairngorms National Park, Peter Cairns is a freelance nature photographer with a deep fascination for our relationship with the natural world. In addition to documenting Europe's high-profile wildlife species, his work focuses on a diverse range of issues such as wildlife management, ecological restoration, eco-tourism and evolving land-use regimes. In Tooth & Claw, the realisation that wildlife politics is not about wildlife but about us, comes to the fore.
Peter is a member of the International League of Conservation Photographers and is a co-director of Wild Wonders of Europe, the first ever pan-European photography initiative celebrating our shared natural heritage.

Mark Hamblin

Born in 1966, Mark Hamblin was brought up in Warwickshire and later studied Microbiology at Sheffield University.
He has been working as a freelance nature photographer since 1995. As well as supplying a number of international photographic libraries with stock images, Mark runs his own library of digital images, specialising in UK wildlife. He also writes and illustrates features for a number of photographic and countryside magazines and has published two books, Wild Peak and Wild Land.
Mark upholds the belief that wildlife photographers have a crucial role to play in both, portraying the beauty of the natural world, and equally importantly, in raising awareness on issues that affect us all.
After eighteen enjoyable years in Sheffield, Mark and his partner, Gale moved to the Scottish Highlands in 2002.

Andy Langley

Andy Langley spent much of his childhood clambering up and down mountains with his Scottish father. A fascination with the wonders of the natural world soon developed into a passion to capture it on photographic and video media.
Andy founded his photography and media business in 1985. In the last twenty years Andy's work has been widely published in the national press, books and high street magazines. After a brief stint running a portrait studio he branched out into television production for the sky satellite network in 2004.
Through the production of multi media and educational material for Tooth and Claw, Andy hopes to help people make more informed decisions about the issues we face in the natural world and bring a deeper understanding of our role within it.
Andy is based in Yorkshire with his wife and young son.
