We need to understand that nature is not there simply for us to exploit. We need to build an indisputable case for ecology to predominate over economics.

Predator Research

WildCRU

Tooth & Claw is supporting predator conflict research in association with the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit

The world renowned WildCRU was founded in 1986 by Professor David Macdonald at Oxford University. Its mission is to achieve practical solutions to conservation problems through original scientific research. The WildCRU participate in the implementation of many conservation projects and embrace the need to educate and involve a wider public to achieve lasting solutions.

Their current UK projects include research on the Scottish Wildcat and the impact of American Mink on native British wildlife. Further information (PDF).

The WildCRU is funded entirely by the generosity of charitable Trusts, companies and individual donors as well as by grants from Government bodies.

Tooth & Claw will be making a donation from book sales, talks and the travelling exhibition to help with the work of the WildCRU's UK projects.

Personal donations can be made directly to the WildCRU via their Donations page.
